A little about me.

I love it when family and friends come together to celebrate a wedding, a newly engaged couple, celebrating new life or any of life’s milestones.
I shoot weddings because I love it.  Every wedding is a couple’s celebration of their love, shared with their friends and family, and I get to be part of it by capturing their day in photographs.  My style is clean, classic and timeless.  I try to capture your natural emotions in a very fun and relaxed atmosphere.  But, we can also stage some fun stuff!
I began shooting in 1990, finished my second college degree in 1998 and have been a professional photographer for more than a decade.  I continually grow my talents by learning new techniques and equipment that can change very quickly in the digital world.
I shoot over 30 weddings a year and I’m “five-star” rated on the knot.com and weddingwire.com.   I was also selected as "Best of Weddings" on the knot and "Couples Choice" by weddingwire.  My photos have also been published in the Grand Rapids Press and Grand Rapids Bride magazine!   So you can give me all the specifics you like or you can just leave everything in my hands.  :)
